- Principle: impregnation of wood with wax.
- Advantages: gives a warm look to the wood. Natural product.

Type of finish: application of a sealer and a wax
- Principle: plug the pores of the wood with a sealer and then apply wax.
- Advantages: leaves the wood light-coloured. The wax prevents dirt from penetrating the flooring and limits stains.
